Professional and amateur artists are invited to participate in this three-hour outdoor live painting event. Ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in each category: Plein Aire Competitive (artists must create a scene from Downtown Hollywood), Plein Fun and Plein Kids (for high school seniors and younger). Artists check in at noon at Comfort Zone Studio & Spa, 2001 Van Buren St., and paint throughout downtown. A reception and awards ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. during Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk.
The adult artist registration fee is $20 in advance or $25 at the event. There is no charge for student artists or spectators. Visit www.comfortzonespa.com for forms.
