Find your place, and pace, with the Hollywood Run Club

People who enjoy running might want to consider joining the Hollywood Run Club.

It is a group of people who love to run and enjoy the camaraderie of a club devoted to physical fitness.

Recently a group of Hollywood Run Club members participated in the Michelob ULTRA Fort Lauderdale 13.1 Marathon (actually 13.1 miles is a half-marathon). The organization meets on Sunday mornings at 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. at the Garfield Street Garage and runs three miles. The Club runs on the Hollywood Broadwalk. People of all running levels are welcome to participate.

“I enjoy being a part of the Run Club. It is fun to run with other people,” said Joe Randolph of the Run Club. He participated in the half-marathon.

Anthony Sciolino is an active runner who enjoys running with other people. He also enjoys running in half marathons. “There are many long term health benefits to running and we enjoy working out together. We welcome people of all running levels. After a workout some of us will go to a restaurant and spend time together. I love the Hollywood Run Club and I love running,” said Sciolino.

Samantha Molinero really enjoys being a part of the Hollywood Run Club. “We are like a family and we really support each other. We enjoy running together,” said Molinero. She also ran in the half-marathon.

Those who are involved in the Hollywood Run Club enjoy the chance to work out and socialize together. Anyone can join.
