Christmas Near the Beach brings joy and crowds

A record number of excited South Florida residents turned out as St. Nick took the stage at the 8th Annual Christmas Near The Beach. Once again over 5,000 people attended the Christmas extravaganza at the Arts Park at  Young Circle in Hollywood, Dec. 13, 2014.

St. Nick arrived in style in a bright red convertible and sporting his Island Water Sports surfboard! The Florida Sunshine Band of 50 strong played as St. Nick cruised in coolness!  Kids lined up for their FREE PHOTO at St. Nick’s Beach House with well over 1,000 people passing through to see the jolly fellow.  “Thank you Denna for your incredible work to make the evening so special for locals and tourists alike!” – Hollywood Beach Insiders.  

Christmas Near The Beach is designed to bring the South Florida communities together to celebrate the Wonder of Christmas! “My boys and I just moved to Florida 2 months ago. And this was their first time meeting Santa and taking pictures with him.  I believe I was more excited than my boys”.-Rachel Joyce.

The crowd was overwhelmed with the high quality of talent that performed. like, Ashley Briggs, The American Poets, Grinchy, Josh Bramos, DJ Mr. E and Jalisa Faye, Jesse Jones Jr. and Austin Adamec.  CNTB dancers stole the show when they flooded the staging area to “bust a move” with a flash mob dance. Austin Adamac, singer/song writer of the CNTB signature song, “Christmas On The Beachside” headlined our 2014 show called up the 100+ dance crew. A true highlight as always was the Christmas Ballet presented by Expressions of Joy Ballet. 

The  hosts Eric and Audrey from Moody Radio’s Fresh Start along with Brigitte Sylvester and husband Gibson, interacted with thousands in a “living room style” rapport.   The team brought life to the stage like no other hosts. “Just Beautiful!!!”-Della Applewhite. Over $1400 worth of prizes were given away through the free raffle contest!  “I was brought to tears at the end of the show, when I found out a family who was downsizing this year and couldn’t afford a Christmas tree, WON the fully decorated Christmas tree that is raffled off each year at St. Nick’s Beach House!”-Denna McDaniel-EOJ Productions Director.

Count on Christmas Near The Beach each year! Every second Saturday in December South Florida will know where to celebrate Christmas “South Florida Style.” “We’re winning the war on Christmas.”- Gabriella Moraflores
