Party with a Purpose brings out local leaders to raise funds for Art and Culture Center of Hollywood

Hollywood community leaders gathered at La Huaca Peruvian Cuisine in Downtown Hollywood to enjoy the first Party with a Purpose of the new year. The event raised money for the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood (ACCH).

Joy Satterlee, executive director of the ACCH was pleased to see people getting together for a fun event and she was glad to see support for her organization. “Party with a Purpose brings people from the community together,” said Satterlee.

Hollywood Commissioner Traci Callari  was pleased to see people coming to Downtown Hollywood.

Commissioner Peter Hernandez added, “We are having a great time. I like this restaurant. It is important that we support art and culture in Hollywood.”  Broward County Commissioner Beam Furr said, “This is a great event and I am glad to support art in Hollywood.”   Sue Gunzburger, a former longtime member of the Hollywood Commission and the Broward County Commission said it is important to support the arts in Hollywood. She is especially pleased with the work that the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is doing and she hopes that more young people will benefit from the opportunities at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood.

The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood presents contemporary gallery exhibitions, live stage performances, and high-quality education programs for adults and children. The Center fosters a creative environment where new and challenging work can flourish through programs that reflect the highest standards of artistry and diversity.

The event included drawings for two pairs of tickets to the Michael Bolton concert donated by A Great Place To Sit and two memberships for the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood.
