Hollywood seeking volunteers to serve on advisory boards and committees

The City of Hollywood is seeking applicants to serve on various Boards and Committees of the City on voluntarily basis.  Appointments will be made by the City Commission on May 25, 2016 at 3:30 PM. 

The Office of the City Clerk is currently accepting applications for vacant or expiring positions that exist on the following: 

Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
African American Advisory Council
Artwork Selection Committee
Civil Service Board
Community Development Advisory Board
Education Advisory Committee
Employees’ Retirement Plan
Green Team Advisory Committee
Historic Preservation Board
Hollywood Housing Authority
Marine Advisory Board
Neighborhood Watch Advisory Board
Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Advisory Board
Planning and Development Board
Unsafe Structures Board
Young Circle ArtsPark Advisory Board

To be considered for any appointment, applicants must comply with specific requirements for each board/committee.  The application deadline is Friday, April 22, 2016.  You can apply online at the City’s website http://www.hollywoodfl.org/index.aspx?nid=155.  

All completed interest forms must have a resume attached and be returned to the Office of the City Clerk at Hollywood City Hall, 2600 Hollywood Boulevard.  For additional information, contact the Office of the City Clerk at 954.921.3211.
