Hollywood rolls out new recycling incentive program, sign up for local discounts and a chance at a free iPad

City of Hollywood residents have a new incentive to recycle. As of September 19, the City is promoting a new recycling rewards program.

The program rewards residents for their recycling efforts with discounts at local retailers, restaurants, vendors and more.

On a recycling collection day, registered participants who put out their recyclables receive 25 points to their account. Recyclers stand to earn 100 points a month, which translates to $25 in discounts at many Hollywood eateries and outlets. You later redeem these points by logging onto your www.recyclingperks.com account, or by calling in. Recyclers who encourage their friends and neighbors to sign up will also earn points for each referral.

Customers can register for a rewards account with Recycling Perks by going to www.recyclingperks.com. Those without access to a computer can call the Recycling Perks Customer Service number at 1.855.813.2154. Hollywood residents who register an account with Recycling Perks before December 31, 2016 will automatically be entered for a chance to win an iPad mini 4 from Recycling Perks.

The goal of the Recycling Perks rewards program partnership is to increase recycling throughout the City. “It’s exciting to reward residents for their recycling efforts, and to support the local businesses in Hollywood,” says Bill Dempsey, President of Recycling Perks.
