Hollywood honors Jackie Medina for 21 years of service

Jackie Medina, senior accountant in the Community Development Division was recognized with the Diamond Service Award during a recent Commission meeting. This is a special honor because she was nominated by her co-workers in her division.

Medina led the Cash for Trash program encouraging residents to clean up their neighborhoods. She also led a summer youth program which involved youth completing service projects in the community.

“I am humbled to receive this award. I love my job and I love helping people,” she said. Medina has served Hollywood for 21 years.
