Annual 'Party on the J' brings community together on Johnson Street

Business and community leaders got together on Johnson Street to celebrate Party on the J. It was an opportunity for leaders to promote their organizations, socialize and just have some fun. The event included live musical entertainment. Restaurants on Johnson Street held outdoor activities and smaller businesses had booths set up. Community and civic organizations also had booths where the provide information on their programs.

 

Caren Rose, director/board member of the Hollywood Hills Civic Association was pleased with Party on the J. “The turnout was good. It was fabulous,” she said.

Members of the Greater Hollywood Jaycees were selling snow cones and having some fun in the process. People who came could learn more about the various civic and community organizations in Hollywood.
