The Hollywood Women’s Club founded in 1922 is celebrating its 95th Anniversary of continuous service to the community. The club invites the community to join them on November 10th from 6-9 pm for an elegant evening of fine wine, good food and entertainment at their National Historic Clubhouse, 501 N. 14th Avenue, Hollywood.
“Last year this new event for the Club was sold out and guests talked about it all fall” said Carol Fitzgerald president of the Club. Funds raised from the event will support community service projects and storm repairs.
Highlights of the event include auctions and raffles of wine and wine accouterments. Enjoy food donated by Runway 84, Shenanigan’s Eastside Pub as well as by Club members. Wine donated by members and local establishments will be served. In addition the well-known restaurant Hollywood Vine is providing a sommelier and wine tastings. Entertainment will be provided by local artist John Jay, Jazz Pianist accompanied by Aron Stang, Jazz Guitarist.
The Club is a 501©3 tax exempt organization with over 100 members providing well over 7000 volunteer hours annually. Their Clubhouse was built in 1927 and is not only home to the Club but is available for rentals for family or business parties, gatherings, baby and bridal showers, weddings and other events.
