KARA LUNDGREN APPOINTED GENERAL MANAGER OF CIRC HOTEL IN DOWNTOWN HOLLYWOOD

Seasoned hospitality executive Kara Lundgren has been appointed General Manager of the new CIRC HOTEL in Downtown Hollywood, Fla. The 111-room modern boutique hotel is set to open early 2018 at the landmark $200 million mixed-use Hollywood Circle development on Young Circle.

unnamedLundgren will oversee all operational aspects of CIRC HOTEL, which will be managed by Trust Hospitality. Lundgren previously served on Trust Hospitality’s Operations/System Management Task Force, implementing various operational and guest services for its Anguilla and Bryan, Texas, properties.

With more than 16 years of hospitality experience to her credit, Lundgren previously held management or leadership positions at Amara Cay Resort and Hampton Inn and Suites in the Florida Keys, Courtyard by Marriott Miami Beach and Houston Marriott Medical Center. She also was an adjunct professor of Hospitality at Florida Keys Community College in Islamorada.

Upon opening, the 12-story CIRC Hotel will feature Olivia Restaurant & Bar, an authentic Italian restaurant by well-known South Florida restaurateurs Piero Filpi (Mezzanote and Carpaccio) and Marcello Sindoni (Il Toscano). It will also feature The Muse Rooftop Bar & Lounge, a chic rooftop bar and lounge on the hotel pool deck, a state-of-the-art fitness center, flexible meeting space, and more. Located in the heart of vibrant Downtown Hollywood, CIRC HOTEL is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, bars, cafés and boutiques.

Downtown Hollywood is an arts and culture hub with a collection of curated outdoor murals, installations and galleries.
