Broadwalk and Beach Cleanup set for Sunday, December 3

MORE THAN 40 VOLUNTEERS PARTNER WITH THE CITY OF HOLLYWOOD TO CLEAN HOLLYWOOD BEACH BROADWALK FOR WORLDWIDE CLEANUP CAMPAIGN

On Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., more than 40 volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God, in partnership with the City of Hollywood, will clean Hollywood Beach Boardwalk.

The environmental cleanup is part of the worldwide movement entitled, “Mother’s Street,” which the Church of God is carrying out from November 19 to December 3 in more than 6,000 regions in 175 countries, and is covering a distance equivalent to the circumference of the earth—nearly 25,000 miles.

Cleanups are also taking place in numerous countries around the globe, including Argentina, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Cameroon, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, Haiti, India, Mexico, Mongolia, South Africa, and Trinidad and Tobago.

A cleanup is also taking place in Louisville, as well as multiple states along the East Coast, including North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
