Hollywood CARES For Haiti was founded in 2006 as a partnership between Temple Beth El and the First Presbyterian Church, both in Hollywood. Together they raise funds and awareness to support an orphanage, school and community center in Haiti for children affected by HIV/AIDS.

This year, Hollywood CARES For Haiti is collaborating with Alissa Alfonso, artist and curator of SQUATTER Pop Up Art Fair, for the upcoming “Hollywood Healing Haiti” annual benefit concert. This free, family-friendly concert will take place Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 1 -5 pm at the Young Circle ArtsPark in Downtown Hollywood.

All funds raised will directly benefit the Project Papillon Orphanage and Community Youth Center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

“We are excited to continue our benefit concert tradition and feel we have brought together our strongest musical line-up yet,” said Sharon Tanenhaus, President of Hollywood CARES For Haiti. “This fundraiser is the perfect venue to raise money and create further awareness for these deserving children and the programs that enrich their lives.”

“Hollywood Healing Haiti” will feature the musical talents of Charlie Pickett, Jacuzzi Boys and more.  In addition, attendees can look forward to raffles, children’s activities, food and an artisan and craft fair.
