Affordable, Weekly Gourmet Meal Delivery Service Launches in Hollywood; Portion of Proceeds Benefit Meals on Wheels

Most charities run galas and fun runs to raise money to run their programs.  But Meals on Wheels South Florida is sticking to its roots in its latest endeavor as it launches a partnership with Hollywood caterer Red Chair Catering.

Complete Cuisine is a gourmet meal delivery service completely separate from the regular Meals on Wheels programs. A portion of Complete Cuisine’s proceeds directly benefits Meals on Wheels South Florida, which strives to end hunger across all ages with kindness, dignity, and compassion.

Available in Broward and Miami-Dade counties, for a variety of age demographics and dietary needs, the new service comes in at an affordable price point compared to similar meal delivery services currently in the market.

Jessica Rosales and Joe Grenat with their daughter at Hollywood Beach

Red Chair Catering is a family owned and operated business based in Hollywood by chefs Joe Grenat and Jessica Rosales.  In addition to designing the menu and cooking, Rosales handles sales and marketing while Grenat runs operations. Since 2014, they have been known for serving delicious food throughout the tri-county area, focusing on corporate catering and all types of celebratory events.

“We’ve been able to work with other non-profit organizations in our community for the last four years, and we’re excited to partner with Meals on Wheels South Florida. This partnership will allow both of our organizations to serve a wider demographic of people looking for healthy, gourmet meal options delivered directly to their doors,” said Rosales.

Red Chair was recently included on a short list of South Florida restaurants that had zero violations during an unannounced state inspection for the fourth quarter of 2017.

The initial offering of Complete Cuisine offers beef, poultry, fish and vegetarian entrees and side dishes sure to please any palate as well as any budget. The menu includes more than 35 items including Apple Teriyaki Salmon, Caribbean Jerk Chicken, Vegetarian Lasagna and side dish options.

Currently, Rosales reported, she’s working on low-sodium and other special-diet options to add to the visually pleasing menu selections.  Low-sodium dishes will be available in February.

Food can be ordered online or can be ordered by phone for the non-computer savvy.  In addition to the menu items listed on the website, Complete Cuisine has a full-time Dietitian on staff who can tailor a menu to meet a customer’s specific needs (i.e. vegan, pureed, etc.)

All entrees are $7.95 and all side dishes are $2.50.  Packages and discounts are available.  Meals are delivered weekly frozen and can be prepared in an oven, toaster oven or microwave.  Large orders are available for catering events.
