Downtown Hollywood’s CIRC HOTEL has announced new members of its executive team, including Heather Alexsa, Director of Rooms; Anne-Marie Khoury, Director of Human Resources; Tom LaBau, Director of Engineering; Massimiliano Lozzi, Executive Chef; Ashley Macias, Director of Finance; and Milan Markov, Director of Food and Beverage.

Set to open this spring in Downtown Hollywood, the 12-story modern boutique hotel will be located at the landmark $200 million mixed-use Hollywood Circle development on Young Circle. Managed by Trust Hospitality, CIRC HOTEL previously named Kara Lundgren General Manager and Matt Lois Director of Sales.

Alexsa is experienced in all areas of hotel management, from project management and business relations, to marketing communication and customer services and support. During the past 10 years, she was resort manager, GM and assistant general manager at a variety of properties, including ­­­­Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista and Hyatt Place Marathon.

As Director of Human Resources, Khoury is recruiting and hiring new staff for CIRC and will oversee and manage all staff compensation and benefits. Her experience includes corporate Human Resources manager at Ocean Properties Hotels and Resorts and task force talent acquisition manager for Marcus Hotels and Resorts, among others.

LaBau has more than 30 years of experience in building engineering and management, from the Northeast to South Florida. For the past 16 years he was director of engineering for several hotels and Fisher Island in Miami. LaBau joins CIRC HOTEL from the Plunge Beach Hotel in Lauderdale by the Sea.

Lozzi has extensive restaurant and hotel experience from Italy (San Pedro Vatican Hotel) to South Florida. He was chef/sous chef and executive chef for Setai and President Hotel in Miami Beach, along with stints at Portovino Ristorante, Pazzo Ristorante and Carmine’s La Trattoria.

Macias brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to CIRC. She was director of finance for Islamorada Resort Collection and corporate controller at Vista Hospitality Management in St. Augustine. Macias also served as general manager and area GM for several properties.

For nearly 13 years, Markov has built an impressive food & beverage resume. He was restaurant manager of Carpaccio in Bal Harbour Shops for more than four years, as well as Zuma in Miami and, most recently, at Quinto La Huella at EAST Hotel in Brickell City Centre.

The 111-room CIRC HOTEL features Olivia Restaurant & Bar, an authentic Italian restaurant by well-known South Florida restaurateurs Piero Filpi (Mezzanote and Carpaccio) and Marcello Sindoni (Il Toscano). In addition, the hotel will feature The Muse Rooftop Bar & Lounge, a chic rooftop bar and lounge on the hotel pool deck, a state-of-the-art fitness center, flexible meeting space, and more.
