Come and Hear the Latest Suggested Revisions to the City Charter at the Next Committee Meetings

The Hollywood City Charter Review Committee is currently undertaking a comprehensive study of the City Charter and all aspects of the city’s governmental structure. The committee is scheduled to submit proposals to amend or revise the Charter to the City Commission on Wednesday, April 11 from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm at Hollywood City Hall, Room 215.

The next Charter Review Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 3 from 6 to 8 pm at City Hall, 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, Room 215. The discussion will focus on Consideration of Comments from Public Hearings and a Reconsideration of Citizens Bill of Rights.

The City Commission is then required to place the Charter Review Committee’s proposals on the ballot at the next presidential or gubernatorial election, whichever occurs first.  The meetings are open to the public.
