City Commission Takes a First Look at 2019 Budget at Fiscal Retreat on April 11

Each spring, as a best practice measure, the City Commission gathers for a Fiscal Retreat, an opportunity for City staff to present a preliminary look at the City’s financials as a precursor to the FY2019 budget process.

The goal of the retreat is for the Commissioners to gain a better understanding of the City’s current financial status as well as potential budgetary issues, projects, savings and projections for the future. The Fiscal Retreat sets the stage for the budgeting process to achieve a balanced budget.

The FY2019 Fiscal Retreat is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11th at 9:30 am at Hollywood City Hall, Room 219. All are welcome to attend.

For additional information, contact the Office of the City Clerk at 954 921 3211.
