Lucky St. Is a Big Win For Hollywood Singles
By Chris Celeste

There are more than one reason singles are flocking to Lucky St., Hollywood Florida’s new restaurant and lounge.

The first is the food.  “Our menu is unique in that we take American comfort food and put a global twist on it,” explains Executive Chef Mike Mulcahy.

He isn’t kidding.  A couple of the fan favorites are their Duck Fat Fries ($5) served with their signature Fancy Sauce and their Tempura Rock Shrimp with Togarashi Mayo and  Curry Aioli ($9).  Their pizzas are also top rate, especially the Meat Lovers Pizza with soppressata, pepperoni, and sausage ($10).

Second reason: the drinks.  Tuesdays are $5 margarita nights, attracting friendly singles looking to enjoy a silly night out with new friends.  They can also enjoy $2 chicken and short rib tacos and $3 rock shrimp tacos.

On Wednesdays, Lucky St. caters to whiskey lovers.  Its half off whiskey all day long and ladies, you know what they say about the whiskey man.  He’s captivating, worldly and exudes sex appeal.

Thursdays are for Tequila drinkers with half off all tequila all day long.  Women who prefer their men loud, boisterous and over-the-top will want to make Thursday their night out.

The week ends with Frozen Fridays at Lucky St., half off rum-based  Blue Hawaiian drinks and raspberry, strawberry or mango Frozen Margaritas.  Men, this nights for you as Friday brings in a slew of rowdy single ladies looking for a rollicking good time.

If late nights are not your thing, try Lucky St.’s happy hour, which they refer to as Lucky Hour (of course).  They offer a great food and beverage menu at fantastic prices.   Even better, while most happy hours in Hollywood end by 6pm or 7pm,  Lucky Hour is from 4pm-8pm, so even the most laborious suit and tie singles can catch the great prices after a hard day at work.

Third reason: the entertainment.  Lucky St. features spectacular live shows Wednesday through Saturday. On Wednesday, Lucky St. holds a Jam session at 8:30 pm.  Its like karaoke for bands.  Pair that with whiskey night and how could it not be fun?  On Thursdays, a DJ gets the party started and Fridays and Saturdays are band nights with a variety of acts, ranging from alternative to Latin to top 40, taking the Lucky St. stage.

Lucky St. is located at 5450 SR 7, Hollywood, FL.  Open Monday through Sunday, 4pm–2am.  For more information, visit
