Exceptional Theater Company Says Howdy to Hollywood in its Wild Wild West Show Set for June 2

Show Will Feature Special Guests Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida

Howdy pardners, it’s almost time for the Exceptional Theater Company’s “Hollywood Stars Wild, Wild West” Show!

The Exceptional Theater Company (ETC) is a 27-year-old Hollywood born and bred organization, using theater to develop and promote independence, dignity, and self-respect for children and adults with disabilities.

The annual show, one of its major fundraisers, showcases the most talented and spirited cast of characters this side of the Mississippi. The performers choose their own topics and songs for the production.  This is their fourth annual production of Hollywood Stars, and each year just gets better and better!

This year, for the fourth year, members of Leadership Hollywood will produce the annual musical.

This year is the first time that the group will welcome a guest artist, a group representing the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida, who will share the stage for a few songs with the ETC actors.

As of this writing, the Leadership team reports that the new Hollywood Walmart, the City of Hollywood, Attorney Alan J. Paoli and the Diplomat Beach Resort have signed on as the show’s first major sponsors.  The team is actively seeking sponsors and advertisers for the show, with several donation levels available. Every dollar counts, and all tax-deductible corporate or personal donations will help fund scholarships, special projects and performances, and keep the cost of the classes reasonable.

“The arts are near and dear to our hearts, and vital to our community,” said Lee Aloni, chair of the show production committee.   For more information on the show or sponsorship, contact Aloni at [email protected]  or 754 244 3352.

ETC is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization which has enriched the lives of the special needs performers for twenty-seven years.  For information on ETC contact Daniela Roeder-Levy at (954) 699-4096 or https://exceptionaltheatercompany.org.

The show is set for Saturday, June 2 at The Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center, 1770 Monroe Street, Hollywood 33020. Doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 7.  Presale tickets are $10 and $15 at the door. Email [email protected] for ticket info.
Please share this “Exceptional” event with your families, friends, and colleagues. You won’t want to miss seeing these talented performers!  Their Facebook event page is https://www.facebook.com/events/738005433067953/.
