Yellow Green Farmers Market plans expansion

Following extensive discussions regarding concerns raised by residents, the Hollywood Commission agreed to change the Yellow Green Farmers Market land use designation to general business.

During city and community meetings, presentations were made on the plans for the market, including plans to expand the market substantially.

There would be an airconditioned area for vendors that would include a food hall.

Residents have expressed concern that some of the vendors are not following city codes and operating without permits. There have also been concerns about the parking situation at and around the market.
