5th Annual FUNclusion Event @ German American Hollywood Society | Hollywood | Florida | United States

Give Opportunity to Disability (G.O.D.) & Disability Programs & Training (D.P.T.) presents the 5th Annual FUNclusion®!

FASHION | ART | MUSIC | SPEAKERS
FUNclusion® is an annual entertainment event for the whole family. We provide a multisensory platform for creative, cultural and educational activities and presentations – highlighting the work of individuals whose creative gifts go unnoticed due to social stigmas that marginalized people with disabilities. For the first time since FUNclusion launched, we will be adhering to our inclusivity mantra and have made it possible for the first time ever, free admission to be granted for all! RSVP now for Sunday filled with live musical performances, art, fashion, special guests and fun activities for everyone!

GET TO KNOW: The goal of FUNclusion® is to dissolve social fragmentation of all types and promote the accomplishments of those that rise above circumstance and pursue their passions. Recognition of support toward FUNclusion lists include Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Toyota of Hollywood, Hollywood Kia, the German-American Club and more. Proceeds from the event help fund Disability Programs & Training – DPT, a planned full-service resource & support center for individuals with disabilities.
Event producer Yesse Leyva is an activist for inclusion and a public speaker. An advocate for self-dependence and the rights of people with disabilities, Yesse explains the purpose behind this project:

“As people with disabilities, we are constantly reminded of what we cannot do. FUNclusion® focuses on empowering our abilities and the potential to break through the doors that seemed shut before.” Her vision for DPT includes providing services to help those with disabilities gain the skills necessary to become independent and productive members of their community.
